GDP
Good distribution practice (GDP) requires that medicines are obtained from the licensed supply chain and are consistently stored, transported and handled under suitable conditions, as required by the Marketing Authorization (MA) or product specification.
GDP ensures that the quality of medicinal products is maintained throughout all stages of the supply chain from the site of manufacturer to the pharmacy or person authorized or entitled to supply medicinal products to the public.
All of our infrastructural and operational elements are in line with GDP requirements. These are the requirements we need to meet in order to comply with the MHRA
Organisations that may have to comply with good manufacturing practice (GMP) and/or good distribution practice (GDP) include:
- manufacturer licence holders
- wholesale dealer licence holders
- blood establishment authorisation holders
- non-UK sites employed by UK MA holders
